Staircase Makeovers in Raleigh

Stairs are the first thing people see when they walk in. We replace carpeted treads with clean hardwood, rebuild risers and landings, and do full floating builds on steel stringers.

Stairs with the floors, or on their own

A staircase makeover usually runs alongside a flooring project: same species, same stain, one continuous look from the front door up. Stairs also stand alone. If the floors are fine and the stairs are tired, we can do just the staircase.

Frequently asked questions

Can you convert carpeted stairs to hardwood?

Yes. The carpet comes off and the treads and risers get replaced or rebuilt in hardwood. It changes the whole entryway.

Do you do modern and floating staircases?

We do, including floating treads on steel stringers and open designs with horizontal railing. The portfolio page has several.

Can the stairs match my new or refinished floors?

That’s exactly how we plan them. We match the species, stain, and sheen to the flooring so the stairs and the floor look like one job.
