Can my floors be refinished, or do they need replacing?
Most solid hardwood can be refinished several times over its life, and plenty of floors that look beyond saving sand out beautifully. We’ll look at yours and tell you whether a refinish will work before any job starts.
What does refinishing involve?
We sand off the old finish and the wear layer, repair what needs repairing, then you pick a stain and we put down a durable finish. The floor goes back to bare wood first; that’s the difference from a recoat.
Do you fix squeaks and damage during a refinish?
We do. While the floor is open we fix squeaks, loose boards, and damage. Some of our best reviews came from rooms other companies had written off.
